Halloween at My Mums Craft Shop

A little while ago i applied for a DT Call over at MMCS and i was lucky enough to be chosen to guest for October!!   I honestly feel honoured to be a guest over there as the talent of the other ladies is at such a high level!

Teddy Bo Birthday Card

One of my best friends birthday was on Sunday and i wanted to make her a special card.  We have this little joke that she is 21 (although she's not lol) It took me forever to decide on the image but then i remembered i had these 2 cuties so that was perfect!

I coloured with promarkers.

Something Different

Afternoon everyone, This is a card i made for a friends brother.  I find male cards really hard, so came up with this idea!

Jades Birthday Card

On the 16th May my eldest child, Jade was 12 and she asked me to make her a card, i had so many ideas and was hours away from making it when she told me she really liked Saturated Canary and could i make one using one of them!  She had specific requirements too, it had to be pink and black, not too childish and not covered in flowers!

Well this is what i came up with

The image is so Jade, WHEN she is at home she is always in her room with a book near her and sitting on her bed.

I coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers.

The card blank is 8 x 8

The papers are from Craftwork Cards as is the spotty ribbon

The pink ribbon is from That Craft Place

The pins are from Crafty Emma's Store

The Pink Pearls are from Dunelm.

Jade was really pleased with it, so i was happy!

The Crazy Challenge - 3 Colours

Still going with my christmas cards!  I used this sexy missus from Sassy, i coloured her with promarkers.  The backing paper is from Craftwork Cards as is the happy Christmas sentiment.  I'm not very happy with this as it was silver at first it didn't fit in with the theme so i went over all the silver with a quickie glue pen and added ultra fine black glitter, i just think it is a bit messy!  The star border is from a pack of on the edge borders and is embossed.  I used pink stickles for her scarf and round the edge of the nesties.  On her hat and shoes i have added some Dawn Bibby Shine time.

A Catch Up! SMC - Punch it

I am soooo late with this post, i am sorry!

This week at SMC our theme is punch it - we would like to see what you can do with your punches!

This is my card.  I have used a circle punch for the punched part.

I used Eris the elephant which if anyone follows my blog regularly you will know i just adore elephants! He is coloured with promarkers and pencils.  I love this colour combo and don't know why i don't use it more!!  The papers were sent to me in a swap i did recently.  The sentiment is from my Incy Wincy Team mate Netty, she has some fabulous sentiments over on her blog not to mention her fabulous cards! The Crazy Cahllenge - Monochromatic

Choosing an image from Di was sooooo hard, as they are just gorgeous, but i decided on this gorgeous Flower Fairy.  I coloured her with promarkers. DigiStamps4Joy - Lace

This fortnights challenge at Digistamps4Joy is LACE.  We would like you use lace on your project, Simple!!

For this card i have used one of the cute Freckle Fairies, she is coloured with promarkers and mounted on silver mirri card and then onto a nestie shape. The leaves are some die cuts i got from ebay.  The swirl is  a Tim Holtz die.  Lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts, as are the flowers and pin. Gems and paper from my stash.
