My time at Ally Pally!

On Saturday i went to Alexandra Palace to The Big Stamping and Scrapbooking Event.  It was actually a last minute decision and it was a good one!  I managed to rope my mum into coming with me, now she isn't a crafter but even she loved it and we are both going to the NEC in November!

I was born and raised in near London, but i never knew how beautiful our capital is!

There was of course lots of demos going on with some familiar faces including Sue Wilson (i think that is her name!)

The most amazing samples on display too!  If anyone recognises their work please let me know as i would love to follow you and give credit to you!
Barabra Grey was at the Clarity Stamps stand of course!

These are some LOTV cards at their stand!

Craftwork Cards

 The Glitter Girls!

 Kim Sutton
 Jo Channon

 And my stash !!
Some stamps i brought!  The tree was free!
christmas moments papercrafting kit
This Debbi Moore Christmas Moments kit had 40 card blanks in and so much more and it was £5!!!  This usually RRP's for £25! so i was mega happy with this bargain!!

I can't wait for november at the NEC!!

The Crazy Challenge - 3 Colours

The Crazy Challenge

This week at The Crazy Challenge we would like you to use just 3 colours!  Any 3 you like (not including skin)

We are sponsored by Sassy Studios which made this quite easy!

Still going with my christmas cards!  I used this sexy missus from Sassy, i coloured her with promarkers.  The backing paper is from Craftwork Cards as is the happy Christmas sentiment.  I'm not very happy with this as it was silver at first it didn't fit in with the theme so i went over all the silver with a quickie glue pen and added ultra fine black glitter, i just think it is a bit messy!  The star border is from a pack of on the edge borders and is embossed.  I used pink stickles for her scarf and round the edge of the nesties.  On her hat and shoes i have added some Dawn Bibby Shine time.

I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by!

I have made a Double twisted easel card using a blank from Hunkydory.  The image is coloured with promarkers and copics.  The sentiment topper and poisionetta are from Kanban.  The paper is from Papermania's new NOEL range.

Incy Wincy Designs - Distressing

This week at Incy Wincy we are sponsored by The Stampfairy for our distressing theme.  Now my regular followers will know i don't really 'do' distressed as i don't feel i can.  But here is my effort.

I have used this cute Bunny, she has been in my computer for ages and not been used so i thought i would use her today.  I coloured her with promarkers and Copics.

Now another thing i don't really do many of is, Step cards, i never know what to do with the 'step' part lol.  I had to adjust this one slightly as i went a bit overboard with the flowers and it wouldn't stand up properly, so i added a slight bend and it was fine!  The flowers are from Crafty Emmas Store and Wild Orchid Crafts.  The heart beaded stem was from ebay (i think)
The tag at the back is a Magnolia Doohickey.  The one at the front i have had in my stash for ages and i thought it worked well with this.  The Butterflies at the back are punched from a Tonic Studios punch.  The tiny butterflies (and they are soooo tiny!) are punched from a Woodware punch.  All the butterflies have glitter on them.

The papers are Magnolia Tilda, i have had them for ages and could have cried when i cut them, they are so pretty!  The lace is self adhesive and is from my local craft shop.

i would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Thank you for looking xx

The Crazy Challenge - Birthdays

This week at The Crazy Challenge We are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Designs for our birthday challenge.  How sweet is this little cutie!  I have coloured her with Promarkers and Copics.  The pink paper is from Summer Blossoms paper pack i got free with a magazine a while back.  The green striped paper is from Forever Friends Spring pack.  I did the border with a Martha Stewart punch.  The ribbon was in my stash as was the sentiment.  The card Candi is from Craftwork Crafts.

Incy Wincy Designs - Bookmark

The Crazy Challenge - Spots and/or stripes

This week at The Crazy Challenge our theme is to use Spots and/or Stripes.  We are sponsored by the wonderful Ai Factory, who not only do digi stamps but also Clipart!

I will try to get a close up of this when my battery has charged for my camera.  I'm not sure what this card blank is called, i loved it for this challenge.  The owl is of course from AiFactory.  The Striped paper is from Forever Friends Spring Stack.  The spotty paper is from Dovecraft Back to Basics range.  The shape the owl is on has been embossed with the spots embossing folder from Cuttlebug.  The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and the buttons from Papermania, Lemon Sorbet range.

Incy Wincy Designs - Make your own flowers

At Incy Wincy Designs this week we would like you to MAKE YOUR OWN FLOWERS!

And we are sponsored by our very own Nikki's shop Limited Runs!

I have used this HELLO sentiment.  Sorry this photo is a bit far away, my battery on my camera died before i could take anymore!  I have gone for a 'distressed' look with this one, i don't do many of cards like these although i do like the effect.  I inked the edges with Tim Holtz distress inks in 'denim blue' (i think) The paper is My Mind's Eye.  The large butterfly is a Marianne die, which i smothered with Crackle accents. The gems are from Ladybug Crafts. The flower embossed panel i used the debossed side, by rubbing ink in the embossing folder.  The flowers are Prima's with a mulberry rose in the centre.

Teddy Bo Tri Fold

One of my facebook friends recently used these images and i LOVE Teddy Bo.   I wanted to do something a bit different to my usual 'square' card.

I coloured with promarkers and Spectrum noirs.  The papers are Wild Rose Studio Florals that i got from Crafty Emmas Store.

The gems, charm and flowers were all in my stash.
