Creative Knockouts DT - Thankful

Hi everyone,

I'm in the middle of moving at the moment, so i must apologise for the sparse blog posts!

It's time for another Creative Knockouts challenge and this week we are sponsored by the fab

I used Mini Pots and coloured with promarkers, i didn't use a sentiment from the set as my printer decided to run out of ink as it was printing!

Wild Rose Studios Kitty!

Hi everyone, 

I am here with the 2nd entry i sent for the Cardmaker of the year, now as i said, i know some of you will think i don't stand a chance but you have to be in it to win it, so you never know!

I haven't made a card like this for AGESSSSS.  

The image is a stamp from Wild Rose Studios and is coloured with promarkers.

The paper is Lili of The Valley, as is the sentiment.

The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and are smothered with Stickles.

I just noticed the gems in the top are wonky on the photo!!

All die cuts are done on the Silhouette Portrait.

Spring has Sprung

Another quick card.

This cutie is from the current Papercraft Essentials Magazine.  This was in a decoupage and papers kit that came free with it.

I am not a big decoupage fan so only used the bottom layer.  It is all mounted on Kraft card.  The sentiment is from Forever Friends. Ribbon and gems from my stash!

Fizzy Moon

A couple of weeks ago my mother in law asked me to make her a card for her sister that was going to be 60.

I have a real thing for mounting on to black at the minute, i think it really sets the colours in the paper off.

The stamp is Fizzy Moon and is coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers.  The flowers have been stickled for the glittery effect.

The papers are Dovecraft and Me to You

Attitude!

My best friend asked me to make her niece a birthday card.  And this is what i came up with:

The image is from Mayzart and is coloured with promarkers.

The attitude quote is from Bugaboo.

The sentiment is computer generated.

The card blank is 8 x 8 from Craftwork Cards

The heart paper is Forever Friends 

The flowers were in my stash as were the gems.

Friends and Wine!

I was asked to make 2 cards for a lady who wanted 2 of the same card but different for her 2 best friends.  My brief was a image with 3 ladies and we like to drink wine! LOL

 So here is what i came up with.

I used this image from Bugaboo and coloured with promarkers.

The top one is made with Carts US paper

The paper ribbon is punched from an EK Sucess punch.

This one was made with Kraft card from Papermainia

Spring at Digi Galore

It's time for a new challenge at Digi Galore and this time we are sponsored by the fab Beccy's Place

Beccy was ver generous and gave the design team some fab images to use.  I chose these gorgeous Tulips, ass tulips are my favourite flower.  I didn't want to take away from the image so i kept it plain and simple.

The image is coloured with promarkers.

The sentiment is a wooden Dovecraft stamp and the butterflies were punched from a Tonic Studios punch.

Baby Girl Card

Last week a good friend asked me to make her a card for a friend that was leaving work on Maternity leave to have a baby girl and this is what i came up with.

I used this gorgeous baby image from PollyCraft and coloured with Promarkers.

The paper i believe is from Dovecraft Back to Basics (really must keep all papers together!)

The ribbon and gems were in my stash

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves were punched from an Xcut punch.

I really liked it and i hope you do too.

Magnolia Easter

I love Magnolia, but hardley ever use them!!  I am more of a digi stamp user, but when i managed to buy this cutie for just £1.04!!! on eBay i had to use her!

I kept this card really clean and simple, but effective (i think!)

As usual coloured with promarkers.

This is another card i made for an order.

Cupcake!

The lovely Tracey from Cardmaker's Delight sent me some more toppers, but i have just been so busy lately, with one thing or another, i haven't had a chance to make anything with them!  But i did make this a little while ago, but never got round to blogging it, until now.

 I don't think i have ever used a Swing card before, but i love them and have had these blanks for ages!

I used the cupcake topper for the front

 And a Hunkydory sentiment for the inside.

The Dew Drops are from Crafty Emma's Store, which is closing down at the end of this week!!
