Cuddly Buddly in Lemon!

Hi everyone,

I'm here today with a card for Cuddly Buddly 

I used Pachela Studios Toby Tumble's Bundle of Joy and coloured with promarkers and Spectrum noir pencils.

I love this image!

The paper is Bella Boulevard

The ribbon and flower were in my stash

I deliberately didn't put anything in the top left corner as i left that blank for personalisation.

Baby Bea's Christmas

Hi all,

I have a Christmas card for you using Baby Bea's Christmas (TeddyBea _177) from Teddy Bo.com

I have coloured with promarkers and added stickles to the pom pom.

The papers are Honey and Hugs Festive Frolics from Papermania.

I cut baubles from pink glitter card and the words Santa's Little Helper from white glitter card both on the silhouette portrait.

The bow and gems are from my stash.

Sugar Nellie Bebe

I have had this image for a while now but only used it once before!  I absoloutely adore it so when i saw that The Sugar Bowl were coming back and looking for a Design Team, i thought i would try my luck!

I used this image to show my 'colouring skills' but to see a few of the other cards i have made using Sugar Nellie before click here 

I used Bebe and coloured with Promarkers. I went with the lemon theme to keep it neutral.

I embossed a sheet of white card with Crafters Companion Petite Dot - 6in x 6in Embossalicious Embossing Folder

And just added a few flowers and pearls!

I love to do these clean and simple cards to show off such a gorgeous image!

Make it Crafty Geeky Love

This is a card i made for my friend that had a baby. 

She had 2 children before the baby came so i wanted to make something a bit different and around the time she was due the Geeky Baby collection was released over at Make It Crafty! I thought this was ideal and wanted to make a sort of story book.

  So the front represents their wedding

The left is the inside of the wedding one and represents her pregnancy, the next is the birth of a beautiful baby girl

The last is the reality of parenthood!  She has asked me to give her a slap if she has any ideas to get pregnant again!! LOL although i have told her she needs to keep having them to keep my broodiness at bay!

Wee baby Card

This is a card i made for an order.  

The customer wanted pink and brown and this is what i came up with.

The banners are cut from Joanna Sheen Banner die

The stars are cut from an Xcut die

I have a name to put on which will go in the bottom left corner.

Bebunni!

I just love this gorgeous little bunny.

I brought the papercrafting kits a while back and they are those crafty items you don't want to cut up!

The first card is from the 'Love' Collection.

And the second is from the 'baby' collection

I love that they are so versatile and can suit any occasion.

Mo Mannings Kai is One!

I was asked to make a birthday card for a friend.  She asked for a girly 1st birthday.  I hope this is ok.

I chose Mo Manning's Kai is One G which i coloured with promarkers. I tried a different technique for the background and did dots in colours of the papers which are Bear Necessities from LOTV.  They are mounted on Kraft card.  The corner is from Prima SIIC

Mo Manning's 1st Birthday Boy

I was asked to make a birthday card for a friends grandsons 1st birthday.  She has mixed race grandsons so Mo Mannings images are always our first go to.

We chose Mo's 1st Birthday Boy which i coloured with promarkers.  The balloons are glossed with Ranger Crackle Accents (i picked up the wrong one!) 

The papers are from LOTV Candles and Cake pad and mounted on blue mirror card. The balloons are die cut from a cuttlebug die.

Incy Wincy GDT

A little while ago i put my name down to be a guest designer for my old DT Incy Wincy, the lovely Chris sent me an email asking me to be a guest for the whole of September!  Of course i said yes!

The theme this week is Hey Baby and they are sponsored by the fab Bugaboo!

Here is what i did

I am so busy this week as my little man is 5 on Wednesday! He's not a baby anymore :-( and then Thursday the boys both go back to school with my middle one is going in to year 6 of primary school! Friday my daughter goes back to school and starts year 9!! Gosh i feel old!  so this week i am busy getting everything sorted for them and on Saturday i am doing a craft fair!  

So this card is a really quick and simple one.

A giraffe and a cake?

I was asked by a friend to make her a few cards for some birthdays she had coming up

So the first was for her grandson who was 2 and is obsessed with Giraffes!

This cute digi is from Digi Doodle Shop, but they are now closed.  But if you would like to get a digi similar to this, i know Mo Manning does one similar.

It is colored with promarkers.

The papers were free from a magazine recently.  

The second card was for her son.

When i asked her what he was into, she said his xbox, but i couldn't decide on an image for it, so whilst looking through my digis i came across this one that i brought AGES ago and had forgotten about it.

When i showed her the image, we agreed that is was the perfect image!

She asked me to colour the hair shocking pink as that is what his girlfriend has!

The image is from Redonkadoodles (new name) and is coloured with promarkers.

The striped paper is from Man about Town from Wild Rose

The checked paper is from Dovecraft (i think)

Baby Girl Card

Last week a good friend asked me to make her a card for a friend that was leaving work on Maternity leave to have a baby girl and this is what i came up with.

I used this gorgeous baby image from PollyCraft and coloured with Promarkers.

The paper i believe is from Dovecraft Back to Basics (really must keep all papers together!)

The ribbon and gems were in my stash

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves were punched from an Xcut punch.

I really liked it and i hope you do too.

And here is a quick card i made using a piece of scrap paper and a Kanban topper!

Bambino!

I have had this image for ages and not used it, so when i was asked to make a baby card i knew this would be the ideal image! It is called Bambino from Sugar Nellie.

The lady had asked for a sepia card, the image is coloured in sepia colours but when it came to doing the entire card in sepia i just felt totally out of my comfort zone! So after some toing and froing with the lady we agreed on this one.

The papers are Cart US baby range, the card is Kraft.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Dottie 4 Crafts. The leaves are punched from a Martha Stewart punch.

The poem is one i found on the internet.

I was quite pleased with this card and think my mojo is well and truly back! Next order is for some male cards so lets see if Mr mojo wants to stick around!

That Craft Place DT - Monochrome

This is sooo not my thing but here is what i made

This gorgeous stamp is Dark Room Door which is available at That Craft Place Shop and as it is a vintage type stamp i though i would try to do a vintage/distressed card, did i pull it off?  I'm not sure.

The pram is coloured with promarkers and Flexmarkers, although in hindsight i wouldn't have coloured it.

The papers are Crafts too and Forever Friends and are inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Faded Jeans

The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and the buttons are from my stash.

Just Inspirational DT card - Babies!!!

This is our inspiration this week

 How cute????!  For my card i wanted to keep it extremley clean and simple.  This way when i come to use it i can add some personalisation to the top and bottom corners.

The papers are from a pad i have had for ages, but unfortunately they haven't got the from cover!  The image is from Ellephantastic and is coloured with promarkers.  The card is bazzill.  The self adhesive ribbon/lace is Dovecraft.  The gems are from Poundland.
