Wedding Cards

I am doing a wedding fair in a couple of weeks, so obviously making wedding cards.
I brought some printed squares from LOTV

The papers used in both of these cards are from the works, they were in a pad of 40ish papers for 99p!
The one below is an 8 x 8 card using one of the 'Big' squares

This one is using papers from a Summer Blossom? pad

Thanks for looking

Make it Crafty Geeky Love

This is a card i made for my friend that had a baby.

She had 2 children before the baby came so i wanted to make something a bit different and around the time she was due the Geeky Baby collection was released over at Make It Crafty! I thought this was ideal and wanted to make a sort of story book.

So the front represents their wedding

The left is the inside of the wedding one and represents her pregnancy, the next is the birth of a beautiful baby girl

The last is the reality of parenthood!  She has asked me to give her a slap if she has any ideas to get pregnant again!! LOL although i have told her she needs to keep having them to keep my broodiness at bay!

This was the card as a whole

The papers are from Craftwork Cards, the images from Make it Crafty and are coloured with promarkers.

My 1st cards of 2014!

Hey everyone,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Towards the end of 2013 i lost my crafting mojo and even into the start of 2014 nothing! But i was watching Create and Craft TV and saw the new Hunkydory sets and had to have  them and these are what i have made so far.

8 x 8 You've Passed

8 x 8 Anniversary

DL Wedding

8 x 8 Best Friends

8 x 8 Wedding

DL Friends

These 2 are from Hunkydory but not the new set, i believe these are from a discontinued set.  But i love elephants and when i saw these on ebay i had to have them!

JIC MONTHLY challenge

Hi everyone,

Over at Just Inspirational to give you an extra challenge each month.  As you will know our weekly challenges usually have a digi company as a sponsor, so we thought why not have a monthly challenge where you can win something physical! Maybe some candy from one of the DT, maybe a voucher for a shop, maybe a goody bag!
So what do you need to do?  Simply make a card following the theme and link up!

For our first challenge we are are sponsored by the lovely Lisa at That Craft Place

Who will send the winner a yummy goody bag!

So the theme?

ANIMALS - you can use any animal you like, bears, birds, pigs, elephants, horses etc as long as the animal is a main part of the card.

Here is what i did:

I was asked to make a friend a wedding card for her aunt who was getting married.  I always think red and white/cream go well together and then i found the paper from Boofle with tiny red hearts and knew it would be perfect!  The image is Wee Stamps and is coloured with promarkers.  The flowers are from Dottie 4 Crafts.  The ribbon was in my stash as were the gems.  The little letter charms i got from ebay.

I hope you will join in over at JIC

The Wedding Dance

My best friends cousin is getting married next week and she asked me to make them a card, well obviously when you get married it is a special occasion, so i wanted to make something special!

I immediately thought of The Wedding Dance by Mo Manning which i coloured with promarkers.

The paper is from Boofle and has tiny glittered hearts on it.
The butterflies are die cut from a Cheery Lyn die
The flowers and leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts
The sentiment is Craftwork Cards
The rest of the items used are all from my stash.

Incy Wincy Designs - Something Old, Something New..............

Hi all,

Can you believe it is Monday already?? Where has this year gone??

Incy Wincy Designs

This week at Incy Wincy our them is Something Old, Something New.

Well there is an old english saying:

Something old, something new
Something borrowed, something blue
And a silver sixpence in her shoe.
This is traditionally to be done by a bride on her wedding day and she will have a long and happy marriage. ( I did this, all except the sixpence as i had open toed shoes and i have been married 7 years!!)
Well when i saw the title of our challenge this week, i thought i need to get this in there somewhere, but also keep to the theme which is that we would like to see Some OLD stash and Some NEW stash in your projects.
Our sponsor is Digital Delights who will give the winner 3 digis of their choice!!

OK here is my card:

So the Blue bit is the card blank, the Congratulations paper, flowers and cardstock.

The something old is this image, i have had this for ages and love it!!  Also the card blank has been in my stash forever!

The something new is the pens i have used as they are the NEW Spectrum Noirs!  This is the very first image i coloured in with them!  Not sure i have mastered it yet, but not bad for a first attempt!  Also the camera that has taken these photos is New (my lovely hubby brought me for my birthday last week, i am sure you can see the difference in this photo and previous ones!!)

Now seen as she has no feet i couldn't give her a silver sixpence, so i gave her hubby a greay pair of shoes, (does that work?).  Now the borrowed bit was hard, but then it came to me!! A sketch! so i tralled through all the challenges i could find for one i could get to fit this and here it is:

So obviously i will be entering this card into the challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

I also will be entering the following challenges:

The Crazy Challenge ~ Weddings

The Crazy Challenge

This week at the Crazy Challenge we are sponsored by Digi Doodle Shop

for our Weddings challenge.

I chose to use 2 images from their store to make a scene. I have coloured with promarkers, pencils and chalk. The paper is from Piece of Cake collection.

The heart is chipboard that i coloured with promarkers and then glittered.
The flowers are some i won in some candy a while ago. They too were attacked with the glitter glue! The little red buttons were sent to me by a friend and the wedding ribbon was in my stash.
The sentiment says 'Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.' Which is a quote made by Aristotie, that i found on the internet.

I hope you like it and thank you for looking.

The Crazy Challenge - Anything Goes

The Crazy Challenge

This week at The Crazy Challenge it is Anything Goes and our wonderful sponsor is Digital Delights by Louby Loo

Here is what i did

This image was actually going to be used for something else, but my printer was playing up and wouldn't print!  Anyway this is Madison Bride, i coloured her with promarkers and gave her a 'bling' necklace using Sakura Gel pens.  This was a really easy card as i wanted to keep it clean and simple.  The papers were from ebay, not sure of the brand. And everything else was in my stash.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking.
