Sew Many Cards - Glitter!

I can't believe it is Friday already!  Only 15 days till my birthday too!  This week at SMC our challenge is GLITTER! This has to be one of my favourite challenges.  I have used one of the July new releases available here.  Isn't she just darlin'?  I have coloured her with promarkers and pencils. Her wings are glittered with stickles.  The heart is cut from a Spellbinders die and glittered with purple glitter glue. The paper is K & Co.

I have used the sketch from Fetch a Sketch and would like to enter it into their 2nd challenge,  i hope it is ok that i have used a square instead of a circle?

Right, onto the Freebie from SMC this week, which is only available for a short time here.  I coloured this with promarkers and added some clear glitter to the hearts using a sakura gelly roll pen.  The paper is Crafts Too.  Gems were in my stash.

OH what a naughty blogger i have been!!!

Last week my husband took me off to Portugal for our 7th Weddding Anniversary and as it was all last minutes, i didn't blog some of the cards that were due, so i am very sorry for any inconvinience, but i will try to catch up now, so first of all is SEW MANY CARDS

The challenge set on Friday was a Recipe using Blue, Ribbon, Die cut and 3 round buttons, now i never got round to this card, but please go and enter.  Also on Friday SMC introduced their new PJ Pals!  They are sooo cute, i have used KEIRA.

She is coloured with Promarkers mounted onto a nestie oval.  The backing paper is Papermania Capsule.  The ribbon and tag were in my stash.  The butterfly is punched from a Tonic Studios punch.  The flowers are mounted onto dark pink paper flowers.

Next up is THE CRAZY CHALLENGE.  The theme there this week is SUMMERTIME but again i didn't get round to that card either although our new DT members really stepped up and created some gorgeous cards!  Be sure to check them out.

Next is INCY WINCY DESIGNS.  This week our very own Hev did us a sketch to follow for our challenge which is sponsored by Dustin Pike this week.  The DT were given some yummy cupcake images to use and here is what i came up with:

So sorry about the pic, i took TONS of pics and this was the best one!!  Anyway  I coloured with promarkers and WINK ZIG glitter markers (they are gorge!!)  The papers are Crafts Too.  The ribbon was in my stash and the sentiment is from the Tulip collection.

Sew Many Challenges - Embossing Challenge

Over at SMC this week we are having an Dry Embossing Challenge!  I love embossing although only with my Cuttlebug!

I am not sure i am completely happy with this card, but it is here.  I have used Duncan on a letter and the rainbow that was a freebie a few weeks ago.  I coloured with promarkers and pencils.  I then added a ton of stickles to all the hearts and flowers!  The 'grass' is Flower Soft and the mini flowers are from Papermania.  The butterflies are punched from an Xcut punch which embosses.  The green panel is from Craftwork Cards, it was actually bigger, i just cut it in half.  The paper is from a freebie Serif pad.

The embossed panel was done using a butterfly embossing folder i have.

A Catch Up! SMC - Punch it

I am soooo late with this post, i am sorry!

This week at SMC our theme is punch it - we would like to see what you can do with your punches!

This is my card.  I have used a circle punch for the punched part.

I used Eris the elephant which if anyone follows my blog regularly you will know i just adore elephants! He is coloured with promarkers and pencils.  I love this colour combo and don't know why i don't use it more!!  The papers were sent to me in a swap i did recently.  The sentiment is from my Incy Wincy Team mate Netty, she has some fabulous sentiments over on her blog not to mention her fabulous cards! SMC - Fathers Day

Hi all so sory this post is late, i have been having a few problems with blogger lately.

This week  i have 3 cards to show you, first up is using the freebie, which is a number 1 dad rosette. This is so versatile to use, but i decided to use it as the main image for this card.  It is coloured with promarkers and prismas.

The paper is Basic Grey, i think.  The Happy Fathers Day is the negative from a peel off as is the car at the bottom.

Next up is a new digi from 3 new ones in honour of Graduation.  When i saw this gorgeous bear i just fell in love with him.  He is coloured with promarkers.  The blue card is Papermania and the backing paper is from a swap i did recently.  Although you can't  see it properly there is some blue zig zag ribbon. 

The blue card is embossed with swiss dots embossing folder.  The sentiment is from the It's a mans world range and the little star is from Meerkat.

Last but not least is this weeks main challenge card, the challenge this week is FATHERS DAY.  I have coloured Eris fishing with promarkers and prismas.  The papers are from K & Co.  The happy fathers day is the positives from the peel offs used on the above card. The buttons are from my stash.

I made this really simple card with it to make the most of the image.  So sorry the photo is dark and not very good, my camera is really playing me up, i think i will be buying a new one at the weekend.  Anyway, i coloured with promarkers.  The papers are from First Edition and Basic Grey, candi is from craftwork cards.

SMC - Anything Goes! And image winner!

On to this weeks challenge, it is Anything goes! I have used one of the images from the May new releases.  As elephants are my favourite animal i couldn't resist this gorgeous one.

I have coloured coloured with promarkers and highlighted with my new Prisma Colouring pencils, oh they are lovely to colour with.  I mounted it on to a large scalloped square nestie.  The ribbon across the middle is a suede effect one that is just lovely.  The dummie charm was from ebay, how cute is it? Buttons from my stash.  The sentiment is from the new Tulip range and the paper is one that i received in a swap.

My next card i made is using this weeks freebie.  I love this freebie as it is so verstaile.  My printer was playing up so i printed this image 3 times, co i decided to decoupage it slightly, but as my camera is also playing me up i couldn't get a better picture of it.  I coloured with promarkers and embellished the centres with gems.  The paper was from a swap i received.  The sentiment is also from the Tulip range.

POST 2 - Sew Many Cards - Colour Combo

This week at SMC the challenge is  Colour Combo using the colours below

I really enjoyed this challenge.  I like the challenge of using just a couple of colours, so here is what i did:

Image: Donkey with Flower on head which is coloured with promarkers Orchid, Turquoise, Meadow Green, Fushia Pink and Blossom

Papers: K & Co and some freebies from a magazine recently

Butterflies: Martha Stewart Punch

Sentiment: Stamp from Pink Petticoat, free with a magazine.
