Monster Train and i've been published!

Hi everyone,

I am mega excited today!  
I finally managed to get Quick Cards March issue today. I especially wanted this issue as i was contacted by the editor in February to ask if they could use my 'Happy Girl' Card!! Of course i said yes!  So here it is:


Anyway i have a card to share today



I'm sharing an A5 card i made using a freebie from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  
This freebie is only available for a limited time on Facebook and is part of their new release.
I love it as it is suitable for both boys and girls ( i have a girl card coming soon)
I coloured with promarkers
Papers were in my stash.
I love how this has turned out i hope you like it too!

Cuddly Buddly Golf Time

Hi everyone,

I have another Cuddly Buddly cutie here to share with you today!

This is Golf Time
 I knew i had to have this image when i saw it, my husband and father in law are big golfers so i am always on the look out for new golf images to use!
I coloured him with Spectrum Noir pencils.
The paper is from the Adam range at Crafters Companion.
The die cuts are cut on the Silhouette.

Die Cut Crazy September Issue!


The new Die Cut Crazy Magazine is out this week and this is my project for this month!


I made an 8 x 8 card and use My Minds Eye papers.  
The image is coloured with promarkers and is from All Dressed Up Stamps


The Xbox die cut and Happy Birthday die cut are both from the Silhouette store and are cut on the Silhouette Portrait

Creative Knockouts DT - Outdoor Fun

I used Anglin Andy and coloured with Promarkers.  
I cut him out on the Silhouette Portrait along with the circles.
The stripey paper is Basic Grey and the Stars are Echo Park
the sentiment is Kanban and the candi is from Craftwork Crafts and was originally white!

Little C's New Release Part 2

As you may know, Monday was new release day at Little C's. 
I made 2 cards the first you can find here and this is the second. 
I made a bright and colourful 'boys' card using this little cutie!



I coloured again with promarkers and used some papers i had in my stash (sorry i don't know the brand!)

I don't make many male cards, but since i got the Bo Bunny Family Is papers i have lots of inspiration!
And at the moment i am loving black mounts too.

Mo Manning's Birthday Surprise Boy!

I was asked to make a birthday card for a friends grandsons friends 1st birthday. He is mixed race so Mo Mannings images are always our first go to.


We chose Mo's Birthday Surprise Boy Cwhich i coloured with promarkers.  


The papers are from LOTV Candles and Cake pad and mounted on blue mirror card. The balloons are die cut from a cuttlebug die.

    Lothian Crafts DT


    Over at Lothian Crafts this month we have a new challenge going on and this month it is to use the sketch below

    Trendy Teen


    I was asked to make a card for a friends son who was 13, this was from their daughter.
    Boys cards are not my favourite thing to do at all, only because i never know how to embellish them!
    This image is called Trendy Teen from Redonkulous Designs and is coloured with promarkers
    The papers are just 1 12 x 12 sheet from 3 bugs in a rug
    The words were all digitally created

    Another male card!


    As you may remember i was asked to make a few cards for a friend, she has given me a list of all her upcoming birthdays :-)

    Well this was next on the list.  A boys birthday card.
    I really struggle with boy cards, so this one took me forever!
    The image is from Stamp Fairy and is coloured with promarkers, the balloons have glossy accents on them,
    The papers were in my stash, i think the green one is from Dovecraft Back to Basics, i'm not too sure on the other 2!
    The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and that's it!

    Wee Stamps Easter Card


    I was asked to make 2 Easter cards for a friends little grandsons and this is what i came up with.

    I am not very good with boy cards, so this took me forever to do!
    The image is Wee Stamps by Slyvia Zett coloured with promarkers and chalks.
    The papers are Dovecraft.  The ribbon is from my stash as are the pearls.

    The Crazy Challenge DT - Childhood Memories

    I choose this little dude, he reminds me so much of both of my boys, as i type now my youngest is naked!!

    SKIN: Coral, Sunkissed Pink and Blush (fm)
    HAT and BOOTS: Umber, Cocoa and Tan
    RED is Burgundy, Poppy and Lipstick Red


    The papers were scraps i had in my box, the brown spotty i am sure is from Crafts Too, but i'm not sure about the other.
    The string and candi were in my stash too.
    A quick and simple card!  I will add a sentiment when i use it, maybe father's day or a birthday!

    One Stitch At A Time DT card - Anything Goes

    A few weeks ago i applied to be on the One Stitch At A Time Desgin Team and was accepted!!  Today is my first DT card for them and our theme is Anything Goes!
    Easy right?


    This gorgeous little boy is from our creator Gert at Digi Blessings.  I coloured him with Promarkers and Copics.  The papers are from Wee R Memories which was free in a magazine a while ago.  The card candi is from Craftwork Cards and the sentiment is from Hotshot Crafts.
