A giraffe and a cake?

I was asked by a friend to make her a few cards for some birthdays she had coming up

So the first was for her grandson who was 2 and is obsessed with Giraffes!

This cute digi is from Digi Doodle Shop, but they are now closed.  But if you would like to get a digi similar to this, i know Mo Manning does one similar.

It is colored with promarkers.

The papers were free from a magazine recently.  

The second card was for her son.

When i asked her what he was into, she said his xbox, but i couldn't decide on an image for it, so whilst looking through my digis i came across this one that i brought AGES ago and had forgotten about it.

When i showed her the image, we agreed that is was the perfect image!

She asked me to colour the hair shocking pink as that is what his girlfriend has!

The image is from Redonkadoodles (new name) and is coloured with promarkers.

The striped paper is from Man about Town from Wild Rose

The checked paper is from Dovecraft (i think)

The candi is from Craftwork Cards

I am soooo late with this post this week having a Bank Holiday has really messed with my head!

I made this VERY clean and simple card.  Male cards are not my fortay at all!  

I used this guy from Kenny K and coloured with promarkers.

The papers are from Craftwork Cards in a 6 x 6 bundle i got in one of their sales

The sentiment is from the Forever Friends Black and Gold range

Teddy Bo

I just have to share this card with you as i am quite proud of it!

I made this card for my golf mad husband for father's day.  I spotted the image recently when i was doing my DT comments and straight away i knew it would be perfect! I coloured Teddy Bo with pencils and the golf bag with promarkers and pencils. The sky, although you can't really see it here, is coloured with chalks.  The papers are some Nitwits ones that i got free with a magazine and the little golf bag and Fore were from Matalan.

Here is what i made using Albert.

I made a Fathers day card, i think this little man looks like my son Cameron, so i have made this card for his dad from him.  I coloured with promarkers, the glasses have been glossy accented.  The papers were in my stash and i'm not sure where they have come from so if anyone knows please let me know.  The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and the buttons were in my stash.  The sentiment ticket i have distressed with Walnut distress ink.

SMC - Fathers Day

Hi all so sory this post is late, i have been having a few problems with blogger lately.

This week  i have 3 cards to show you, first up is using the freebie, which is a number 1 dad rosette. This is so versatile to use, but i decided to use it as the main image for this card.  It is coloured with promarkers and prismas.

The paper is Basic Grey, i think.  The Happy Fathers Day is the negative from a peel off as is the car at the bottom.

Next up is a new digi from 3 new ones in honour of Graduation.  When i saw this gorgeous bear i just fell in love with him.  He is coloured with promarkers.  The blue card is Papermania and the backing paper is from a swap i did recently.  Although you can't  see it properly there is some blue zig zag ribbon. 

The blue card is embossed with swiss dots embossing folder.  The sentiment is from the It's a mans world range and the little star is from Meerkat.

Last but not least is this weeks main challenge card, the challenge this week is FATHERS DAY.  I have coloured Eris fishing with promarkers and prismas.  The papers are from K & Co.  The happy fathers day is the positives from the peel offs used on the above card. The buttons are from my stash.

The Crazy Challenge - Card for a Man

This week at The Crazy Challenge, the challenge is Cards for Men.  This can be a difficult one for some people, me included!  But here is what i made:

I have tried to keep this clean and simple!  The image is by MO Manning and coloured with promarkers.  The papers are from It's a Mans World pad and the golfing embellishments are some i got in Dunelm a while ago.
