Is Spring here??

This is another image from the free decoupage set from Papercraft Essentials.

Again i mounted on Kraft card and kept it simple.

The sentiment was a spare of the moment choice and thinking about it now i would put a mother's day or easter sentiment on it.

Mother's Day cards x 2

You may remember a couple of weeks ago i made 2 Popcorn the bear cards that were identical but slightly different?

Well these 2 cards are for the same lady.

She wanted a card for her mother in law and a card for her mum.

They are for mother's day but when i showed her this morning she asked me to leave them as they are.

 The image was a freebie from a magazine and is coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers.

The papers are Dovecraft and Forever Friends.

The ribbons and pearls are from my stash

The butterflies which have Stickles on them are punched from Tonic Studios punch.

The mum balloons are from Fidgety Fingers.

I have a couple of mother's day cards here today, i know it's early but i have a few orders to get through  :-)

I was asked to make 2 mother's day cards but they need to be the same as they are from the same person but to different recipients.

We decided on Popcorn and Souffle From Crafters Companion. 

  They are coloured with Promarkers.

The flowers are from Dottie 4 Crafts and Wild orchid Crafts and have LOTS of Stickles on them.  

The Fence is a Memory Box die

The butterflies are punched from a Tonic Studios Punch and have been glittered with stickles and have gems and pearls on their bodies.

The papers are both DoveCraft ( i believe) 

The customer was happy with them which of course makes me happy!

I'm Baaaack!

Hi everyone, 

Long time since i last blogged. So where have i been?

Well i stopped making cards for about a year and went onto Jewellery making, but then about 3 weeks ago someone asked me to make her some cards, so i thought OK i will give it a go and see how i feel.  I think i might have my mojo back! (touch wood)

I won't be making them religiously or putting myself under pressure to do them but i will do some for fun and a couple of orders i have.

Well anyway here are what i made:

First up is an Easter card, made using this Wee Stamps cutie, coloured with promarkers.

The paper is from Forever Friends Spring collection.

Next is a Mother's day card which here in the UK is on Sunday 10th March.

I used one of my favourite companies, Teddy Bo, I'm not too happy with my colouring but it is done using Promarkers.

The papers are Me To You and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Another Easter card here using this sweet image from Grandma Pearls blog ages ago.  Coloured with promarkers .

I'm not sure where the papers are from.

Clean and simple for the next one using this freebie from Stamp Fairy, coloured with promarkers.

And last but not least is this cutie from Di's Digis. Coloured with promarkers.  The paper is Forever Friends (i think) and Boofle (i think)

How Lucky Am I?

This week has been one of those weeks where everything comes at once.  First i was offered a place on the team at Feline Playful to help them out with posting the winners on Wednesdays.  I felt the need to help out, as i, like many of you i am sure, check Feline Playful daily, for all the winners, challenges, DT Calls, Blog Candy's and so much more.  The ladies on that team do a really amazing job, so if you’re not already a follower pop over and check it out!















Then, as many of you know i am on Facebook and a member of a group called Promarker Passion, which is a group dedicated to talking about Promarkers, giving tips and just sharing our work.  Well last week Paul from Letraset posted on the group that the first 5 people to answer his post would be sent a Brand New Stamp Pack, well of course i messaged him, but thought i was too late, so imagine my surprise on Saturday morning when this came with the post
Inside you receive an A6 stamp exclusively designed by Gillian Roberts, 3 Promarkers: Pink Carnation, Blue Pearl and Buttercup, 6 sheets of A6 White cardstock and a sheet with hints and tips. All for £8.99! Some stamps cost that, so pop over to Letraset and see the other set too!


Here is what i made with it:

I tried to only use the colours provided, the only extras i used were skin colours, green for the leaf and a touch of Sandstone for the hair and a tiny dot of Berry Red for the cherry on the cupcake!  To get the shading you just layer over and over, until you get the desired effect.
The paper is Dovecraft Tea House.  The ribbon is self adhesive.  The sentiment is Craftwork Cards and the gems were from my stash.

Mums the word at Cardmadfairy Digi Days

This time at Cardmadfairys Digi Days we would like to see your Mother's Day projects.

Something for mum, easy at this time of year in the UK!

I used Lucy's Ted from Cardmadfairys shop and coloured her with promarkers and flexmarkers.  The paper was in my stash.  The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment was in my stash as were the beaded hearts.  The border is punched using an EK Success punch.
