That Craft Place DT - Monochrome

This week at That Craft Place we are sponsored by Indigo Blu for our Monochrome challenge

This is sooo not my thing but here is what i made

This gorgeous stamp is Dark Room Door which is available at That Craft Place Shop and as it is a vintage type stamp i though i would try to do a vintage/distressed card, did i pull it off?  I'm not sure.
The pram is coloured with promarkers and Flexmarkers, although in hindsight i wouldn't have coloured it.
The papers are Crafts too and Forever Friends and are inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Faded Jeans
The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and the buttons are from my stash.

There is lots of inspiration throughout the challenge from the DT over at the shop blog.
Thanks for looking

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

One Stop Crafts- Monochrome - Ends 20/05

Cardmaker's Delight

I have another card to show you using toppers from Cardmaker’s Delights!
This time using this cupid.

Now, this topper is quite vintage and as my regular followers will know, vintage isn’t really my ‘thing’ so i thought i would try and take it out of vintage and make it more my style.  I’m not sure if i have done what i was aiming for though.

The paper is First Edition.
The star is from First Edition Sweet Owl range
The panel at the bottom is embossed using a papermainia folder.
Pearls and ribbon are from my stash

Thanks for looking

INCY WINCY DESIGNS - I made the design team!!

I am so happy to annouce i made the design team on Incy Wincy Designs!!!  My first challenge was to make a card using die cuts or punches!

The Sponsor for this week is Peggy Loves Vintage

Here is a little information about Peggy:

Hi,

I'm lucky enough to be a retired grandma who spends the day working with my vintage card collection. My husband and I have shared almost 37 years together and we have 2 sons and a daughter and 2 glorious grand kids that turn 4 and 7 in May.

I started collecting Vintage Greeting Cards quite by accident. I was helping with an Aunt's estate sale and ran across her Vintage Greeting Card collection. The images on the Vintage Cards were so bright and cheerful that I just fell in love with them. As my collection grew and provided such joy and entertainment for me, I knew that others would get as much out of them as I did. So I decided I'd share my collection thus, the birth of PeggyLovesVintage.

Each card is carefully scanned at a 600 dpi resolution and saved in .jpg format. I only scan cards that are free of any copyright restrictions. I keep each and every card, so if any question ever arise I can provide documentation that this is truly the case.

Special software is not required to use my images. If you have printed out a picture from a digital camera, it’s pretty much the same concept and just as easy. Of course if you are so inclined, and if you do have imaging software, you can clone, cut and paste and even change the colors on the image.

The possibilities are endless, so please take a moment and visit my web store by clicking below or copy and paste the link into your browser. So sit back, relax and enjoy your journey back in time.

Hugs to all!

Peggy

Here is what i did:

I decided to go for a vintage distressed look this time, as i don't do them very often.  I used Tim Holtz Distress ink in Tea Dye.  The scalloped circles are punched out and then embossed.  I put some distress ink inside the folder before embossing.  The frame around the image is a nestie die.  I sanded all the edges for an extra distressed look.
