A giraffe and a cake?

I was asked by a friend to make her a few cards for some birthdays she had coming up

So the first was for her grandson who was 2 and is obsessed with Giraffes!

This cute digi is from Digi Doodle Shop, but they are now closed.  But if you would like to get a digi similar to this, i know Mo Manning does one similar.

It is colored with promarkers.

The papers were free from a magazine recently.  

The second card was for her son.

When i asked her what he was into, she said his xbox, but i couldn't decide on an image for it, so whilst looking through my digis i came across this one that i brought AGES ago and had forgotten about it.

When i showed her the image, we agreed that is was the perfect image!

She asked me to colour the hair shocking pink as that is what his girlfriend has!

The image is from Redonkadoodles (new name) and is coloured with promarkers.

The striped paper is from Man about Town from Wild Rose

The checked paper is from Dovecraft (i think)

The candi is from Craftwork Cards

I got in a right mess with my card this week!  I made it on Monday but for some reason i thought it was Tuesday, well our team has our inspiration uploaded by Tuesday evening ready for the lovely Gem or Carlyann to do the post on the challenge blog, well because i thought it was Tuesday night, i thought i was late and the card i made just wasn't 'doing' it for me, so i started again!!  And made this:

This is a Lili of the Valley Die Cut square, they come in handy for times like this and for £1 for 6 bargain!  In case you can't see it the Travel aspect is the Car!

The papers were free from a magazine a little while ago

The calendar bit is actually cut from one of the papers.  The candi is Craftwork Cards.

The peel offs used on the ticket at the top are from Easy Craft Designs.

Bugaboo Golfing Gus!

I made this card for my husbands uncle.  He plays golf regularly with my husband and father in law, so when i saw this image i thought it was perfect!  Especially as it looks like him!

The image and sentiment is Gus from Bugaboo and is coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers.

The card blank is Hunkydory.  The paper is from Craftwork Cards, in the Christmas range!

The ‘golf ball’ stopper is embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder.  The little ‘Golf’ word is from Dunelm.

The ‘Happy Birthday’ is from A Man’s World Range’ from Papermania.

The colours used are:

SKIN: Sunkissed Pink, Blush (fm) Antique White (fm)

HAIR: Cool Grey 4 and 2

TROUSERS: Black, Cool Grey 4 and 2
