Now my PLEA.

I did this a little while ago, but am still in need of some inspiration.  A friend has asked me to make her 3 Godparents cards from her children.  She has 3 children 9,6 and 1 that will be christened together.  She has asked me to make her a card for the godparents to incorporate each child.  As none of the children are babies, i don't really want a typical baby christening picture.  I would prefer a digi stamp, but any type will be good. Does anyone have any ideas?

Any ideas or suggestion are much appreciated.

Blogversary Candy, UPDATED

Hi all,

I have just realised that my Blogversary is coming up on 5th July!  I can't believe it has been almost a year since i discovered the crafting world!! In that year i have made some wonderful friends and have been truly inspired by all the wonderful cards and projects i see.

I am embarassed to say this is my first card i ever made!!   We all start somewhere i guesss!! 

Anyway, i thought to celebrate a year and to thank all my wonderful followers, i would get some candy together.  I literally only decided this a few minutes ago, so i don't have a picture at the moment but i will get one up soon, but for now

Incy Wincy Designs - 100th Challenge BLOG HOP!

Here is my creation using Eris blowing Candles from Sew Many Cards:

I coloured with Promarkers. I'm not sure where the paper is from as it was loose in my box.  I have punched the side with a Martha Stewart punch and embossed the blue panel with a butterfly folder.  The butterflies in the corners are vellum.

And my creation using AiFactory.

I coloured with promarkers and pencils.  The paper is first edition. The ribbon and sentiment were from my stash.

Sew Many Challenges - Embossing Challenge

Over at SMC this week we are having an Dry Embossing Challenge!  I love embossing although only with my Cuttlebug!

I am not sure i am completely happy with this card, but it is here.  I have used Duncan on a letter and the rainbow that was a freebie a few weeks ago.  I coloured with promarkers and pencils.  I then added a ton of stickles to all the hearts and flowers!  The 'grass' is Flower Soft and the mini flowers are from Papermania.  The butterflies are punched from an Xcut punch which embosses.  The green panel is from Craftwork Cards, it was actually bigger, i just cut it in half.  The paper is from a freebie Serif pad.

The embossed panel was done using a butterfly embossing folder i have.

Its Beary Cute at AiFactory!

Hi all,

Over at AiFactory this week we are having a beary cute week!  Our challenge is to use teddy bears on your project.

Pop on over  to the challenge blog to see what the DT have done,

I used the gorgeous clipart to make a baby card for my cousin who has just had a little baby boy!  So this image is just perfect!  I mounted it onto a Blue scalloped square and used some Me to You (Tatty Bear) paper.  The white ribbon and candi were from my stash and the sentiment is from my fabulous teamie at Incy Wincy, Netty, she makes the best!

The Crazy Challenge ~ Weddings

This week at the Crazy Challenge we are sponsored by Digi Doodle Shop

for our Weddings challenge.

I chose to use 2 images from their store to make a scene. I have coloured with promarkers, pencils and chalk. The paper is from Piece of Cake collection.

The heart is chipboard that i coloured with promarkers and then glittered.

The flowers are some i won in some candy a while ago. They too were attacked with the glitter glue! The little red buttons were sent to me by a friend and the wedding ribbon was in my stash.

The sentiment says 'Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.' Which is a quote made by Aristotie, that i found on the internet.

Incy Wincy Designs - A sketch

This week at Incy Wincy it is our 99th challenge! So next week we will be having a blog hop! And boy is there some good prizes!

Anyway this weeks challenge is a sketch by the fabulous Netty and it is a brilliant sketch, i think i will be using it in future when i stuck!

I coloured her with promarkers and pencils.  The background is inked with Tattered Rose Distress Ink.  The papers are all My Mind's Eye.  Pearls were in my stash.  The sentiment which i thought was just perfect for this, was sent to me by a friend a while ago.  The flowers are from Crafty Emms Store

Teddy Bo

I just have to share this card with you as i am quite proud of it!

I made this card for my golf mad husband for father's day.  I spotted the image recently when i was doing my DT comments and straight away i knew it would be perfect! I coloured Teddy Bo with pencils and the golf bag with promarkers and pencils. The sky, although you can't really see it here, is coloured with chalks.  The papers are some Nitwits ones that i got free with a magazine and the little golf bag and Fore were from Matalan.

A Catch Up! SMC - Punch it

I am soooo late with this post, i am sorry!

This week at SMC our theme is punch it - we would like to see what you can do with your punches!

This is my card.  I have used a circle punch for the punched part.

I used Eris the elephant which if anyone follows my blog regularly you will know i just adore elephants! He is coloured with promarkers and pencils.  I love this colour combo and don't know why i don't use it more!!  The papers were sent to me in a swap i did recently.  The sentiment is from my Incy Wincy Team mate Netty, she has some fabulous sentiments over on her blog not to mention her fabulous cards! Here is what i made using Albert.

I made a Fathers day card, i think this little man looks like my son Cameron, so i have made this card for his dad from him.  I coloured with promarkers, the glasses have been glossy accented.  The papers were in my stash and i'm not sure where they have come from so if anyone knows please let me know.  The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons and the buttons were in my stash.  The sentiment ticket i have distressed with Walnut distress ink.

A Plea!!!

Hi everyone,

I have a huge favour to ask.  A good friend of mine has asked me to make her a few christening cards for the godparents, her 3 chuldren will all be getting christened at the same time age ranging from 9 to 1.  I have scoured the internet and my collection but haven't been able to find a suitble stamp i like. I would like to represent the 3 children in some way, so images of a baby in a christening gown aren't quite what i am looking for.

SMC - Fathers Day

Hi all so sory this post is late, i have been having a few problems with blogger lately.

This week  i have 3 cards to show you, first up is using the freebie, which is a number 1 dad rosette. This is so versatile to use, but i decided to use it as the main image for this card.  It is coloured with promarkers and prismas.

The paper is Basic Grey, i think.  The Happy Fathers Day is the negative from a peel off as is the car at the bottom.

Next up is a new digi from 3 new ones in honour of Graduation.  When i saw this gorgeous bear i just fell in love with him.  He is coloured with promarkers.  The blue card is Papermania and the backing paper is from a swap i did recently.  Although you can't  see it properly there is some blue zig zag ribbon. 

The blue card is embossed with swiss dots embossing folder.  The sentiment is from the It's a mans world range and the little star is from Meerkat.

Last but not least is this weeks main challenge card, the challenge this week is FATHERS DAY.  I have coloured Eris fishing with promarkers and prismas.  The papers are from K & Co.  The happy fathers day is the positives from the peel offs used on the above card. The buttons are from my stash.
